BSA 325 W15 : BTS Trailer Script

We've decided to change the BTS trailer to represent something closer to this original trailer for Star Wars (for the reason that we don't want to spend as much time making this thing as our original, more dramatic, version would have required and because the actual BTS video we've planned has turned out to be a very similar "re-creation" format, we don't want to repeat ourselves):



BTS is a very strange thing to advertise in a trailer, leading up to the film, it's even strange to release the trailers at the same time but whatever its what Jacqui asked so we've decided this would be the best style to do it in. An awesome monologue and slow zoom out from the group photo instead of the title - displaying that this is about the team behind the film, not the film itself.



I also think of the Twilight Zone opening as an inspiration, maybe we statt by saying that behind every great film there is a great team and then we can go past the logo of mum and slowly zoom in on the group.

On the 21st of June a select few will see one of the greatest films in the history of human existence, M.U.M, a movie about a young woman fighting against an oppressive regime where health and safety has been taken to unthinkable extremities M.U.M an individual against the system, against a misguided AI and a CEO blinded by his own ambition M.U.M On the 21st June there will be a special screening of this cinematic masterpiece, but look closer for behind every great film there is a great team. Behind M.U.M there is a group of individuals, lying behind the scenes there is a crew who from pure imagination and unrelenting dedication made this film take form, imagine their faces. Each a special role, try to see them: these are the tools responsible for the creation of movie magic [these roles are uttered through the other dialogue] (editor, director, animator, storyboard artists, grips, gaffs, writers, soundies, production designer) Behold, the team behind the biggest film of the year. On the 21st of June the world will not just be exposed to M.U.M but it will be accompanied by an exclusive behind the scenes look into the making of M.U.M. Matthew Butler and Bo Myburgh, the people who brought you Writer Getting It Done, that video where they pester the public about Neon Shrimp and that one where everyone swivels in their chair, present The Official Behind The Scenes Making of M.U.M On the 21st of June you are invited to come see the group at work, known only as Neon Shrimp, the creative force behind M.U.M
