BVA603 W10 : Minutes for the Tenth Week of Semester 2 of Year 2 of a Three Year Bachelor for a paper called Research-Led Industry Practice in which our third official meeting was held for the Think and Create 2019 Committee

Today we shared where we are at with Marketing with the class.

That being that we are continuing with the marketing updates as we get new content to post from the third years, once entry forms are out and advertised we will put a spotlight on what lower year students are planning to enter as well.

We need to be making some kind of profiles on the judges who will be present on the night.

We have discussed and chosen entry forms, now they just still need printed, once this happens we will need to make a skit or tutorial video for how people can go about entering.

We are currently working on an edit of Rodrigo's interview and still conducting interviews with the third year students. We have had an interview with Lucy today and have three more lined up for the rest of the week, one of those being a non-video interview with another previous winner: our own Kasey.

We got gear today but was unable to acquire more than one camera because of a class using the black magic cameras, I will have to check one of these out tomorrow before the interview with Royce that we are having at 1pm.

Royce has given us his hour-long video project that he is displaying in Des Branks Barber a block away from SIT Downtown, we will have to edit some of this video and get a bit of footage of it being displayed and advertise that on the Facebook.

For Rodrigo's interview we are making a version for Instagram and Facebook, one significantly shorter at just a minute. This needs captions, Luqman has worked with subtitling video before and will use the same software to do it again now. We looked up if this can be burned into the video and it can so should work well for the videos that we want/need captioned and will also be an easier method through which to achieve it than to go through Premiere or After Effects.

Luqman has discussed a new plan of design for Instagram with Fabri, something that seperates images and videos well but which also forms a cohesive view when seen all together on the feed.
