BVA 603 W9 : Meeting Week the Ninth

Design Review:

- The team talked about not making themselves overpressured, everyone has busy schedules outside of just this one paper, designs are distributed resulting in a variety of options for the committee
- Looked at the designs, they changed the colour scheme but kept the same font and logo
- We liked Fabri's design because of font size and colouring
- The colours are SIT colours, blue and orange, which is pretty cool
- Jacqui requested PJ's line work and bubbles be incorporated with Fabri's soft background
- They also designed a certificate and entry form
- For marketing we can use these colours to create a stylistic aesthetic and sense of unity with the designs
- PJ said we can meet him after meeting if we need anything, he wants to know our marketing strategy
- Meet with Marketing at some point after meeting, talked to PJ after class, we will have a short meet up with him tomorrow before our screen arts class.

Marketing Review:

- Advertise prizes/trophy spotlight - we could advertise the judges and awards as well as just the entry forms, might even be able to make a cool video of this. Perfect to fill weeks 12 and 13.
- Bex and Jacqui also need to be added as admins / since this they have been added

People responded well to our marketing review, saying it seemed solid and not having much critique only a small amount of extra ideas which were much appreciated.

Sponsorship Review:

- Had some issues with roles but they have sorted it out, the team was very small and they
felt overwhelmed last week contacting Jacqui. This is important for us as well if we ever feel
overwhelmed.

- We probably have to market the sponsors as well, like the game company we could possibly get,
releasing a game this year.

Today the marketing team sorted out a lot of stuff:

Got the Instagram and e-mail logins from last year's head of marketing, contacted the head of sponsorship in regard to a seperate sponsorship Email adress.

Added Bex and Jacqui as admins to the Facebook page.

Scheduled a meeting with the marketing team to talk about preparing a design for the Think and Create 2019 announcement posts.

Have asked past winners if they are available for interviews, have secured interview dates with Tyler and Rodrigo this week.

Booked gear for issue tomorrow at lunch, to be used on Thursday and Friday. Borrowed a dedo light for pick up on Thursday from Matthew Butler.

Chose the RAW Gallery as the location for the interviews, the new exhibition serving as a backdrop. Talked over the visual look and lighting design of the interviews.
