Was brainstorming some dumb ideas with De la Rey, thought about spinning off ideas from a title alone. This ended up being quite fun, could be interesting to see a film where multiple origins for one person is discussed and shown, almost like the different theories surrounding Jack the Ripper.

Two B-Movie Horror Ideas

The Tale of The Widower Maker and The Widower: 

A guy kills other men's wives.

Possible origin stories for this bad b-movie villain:

1) His wife left him, proving to this mad man that the institute of marriage is not functional and it's up to him to fix it.

2) He is collecting wives for his satanic after life.

3) He is an incel (involuntarily celibate) and has become resentful towards women and the men they choose to be with.

4) A man is hired to kill the wives of various men, for different reasons, staging it as a serial killing.

5) A man in love with a lot of girls in the course of his life cannot stand to see them marry other men.

6) A raging queer who believes men should only marry other men.

The Widower:

A man makes widows of women.

1) He lost his wife and now is killing other women's husbands in an attempt to marry one of them.

2) He believes women are slaves to their husbands and by killing these misogynist bigots are giving them freedom - a self mutilated eunuch to escape being part of the patriarchy.
